The best of both worlds
An Australian education with Chinese support.
At MCAS we understand that studying in Australia will be very different to what you are familiar with. We provide you with comprehensive academic, social and technical support to ensure that you are ready to embark on your Australian university journey.
MCAS offers a fully supportive cross-cultural learning experience. Students are immersed in a world-class Australian program while supported by a team of Chinese professional learning and support advisors.
As a MCAS student in China, you will be a part of a close cohort of students – all studying the same courses, together. Your class will be facilitated in China by a class learning facilitator and a student support professional. Our staff in China will ensure you understand what your Australian teachers are asking you to do and will make sure that you can access what you need to complete your program.
Our four Offshore Learning Centres in China are your cross-cultural learning home. You will be provided with a modern study space, computing facilities, face-to-face activities with your classmates and the opportunity to work with your local learning facilitator to ensure you are achieving your potential.
Our staff in China are cross-cultural learning professionals. They understand that the style of teaching in China and Western countries can be very different. We support you to learn about the different ways that students are taught in Australia. We make sure that you feel confident to participate in group activities and interactive classes and that you are prepared for the different types of learning tasks that are common in Australian university classrooms.
We understand that learning abroad is about much more than achieving a degree. It’s about learning to learn.
