Yes. Learning facilitators and support staff at the OLCs will support students to enhance their learning experience, which includes assistance with understanding assignment questions.
OLC life is a true campus experience. You have access to sporting facilities, recreational facilities and you can participate in social events with your MCAS classmates. Your local learning facilitators are there to make sure that you are learning about different methods of teaching in Australia and that you are fully supported to succeed in your Australian studies.
Yes. MCAS students can access the local host university library, accommodation, restaurants and sporting facilities. We encourage our students to engage with their local host campus and to get a ‘feel’ for life as a university student.
Students have access to study spaces, computer laboratories, the library and access to learning facilitators and support staff at the OLCs.
No. All MCAS lectures and classes will be delivered online by our teachers in Melbourne via our online learning platforms. Students will also have face-to-face contact with a local learning facilitator, offering support with online classes and learning materials and assistance with academic and learning needs.
Yes. Our programs are recognised by our partner universities in Australia. Once you have successfully completed your MCAS program, you can apply for admission into an Australian university according to the level of your certification.
Yes. All the study materials, including lectures and tutorials will be delivered by MCAS teaching staff based in Australia. All assessments and exams will be assigned and marked by our staff based in Melbourne.
Students will attend teaching sessions online via platforms such as Zoom and have the opportunity to interact with teaching staff remotely. OLCs will provide extra support to enhance your online learning experience.
No. As long as the student has enrolled in a MCAS program, they can attend an OLC. A valid visa will still be required before entering Australia.
Once you have completed your MCAS program, you can apply for a student visa.
Yes. Students will be able to complete a full MCAS program at the OLC.
Yes. All MCAS programs will be supported by the OLCs through online learning.
If the Australian travel restrictions change, and students wish to travel to Melbourne to study during the Spring (July/August) session, they will be able to do so. If a student commences at an OLC and wishes to discontinue at the OLC, they can do so without any financial penalty.

At MCAS, we have responded to this challenge by enhancing our offerings by providing Chinese students the opportunity to attend a campus locally while receiving a genuinely international education.
Our Offshore Learning Centres provide a cross-cultural learning home for our students in China and allow students to get to know and support each other as they learn. We provide modern study spaces, computing facilities and learning support staff so that our students have a head start when they arrive in Australia.
