English language requirements

If you have an appropriate bachelor’s degree and valid IELTS/DEP certificate with score equivalent to an IELTS of 6.0 or higher, you are eligible to enrol directly MCAS MQP program.
If your test results are between IELTS 5.0 but below 6.0 you can enrol in the MCAS Extended Package that includes a 5 week intensive DEP English Training with successful completion prior to the MQP core program commencement

If you have successfully completed your academics with Gaokao with a score of 58% or higher, or achieved an average of 65% or above in Year 3 of high school, along with an English proficiency score of IELTS score of 5.5 or a Duolingo equivalent of 95

If you have successfully completed your academics with a Gaokao score of 50% or higher, or achieved a minimum average of 55% in Year 3 of high school, along with an English proficiency score of IELTS score of 5.0 or a Duolingo equivalent of 80-90

Entry to MCAS English qualification program

If you have the appropriate academic qualifications but need work on your English language, you could be eligible to enrol in the our intensive English Language course aimed to achieve the required entry level English language proficiency needed to enter the MCAS BQP or MCAS MQP program.
When your enrolment is accepted, both the MCAS BQP or MCAS MQP; each program contains further academic English language development including, academic English courses (English for Academic Purposes 2 and English for Academic Purposes 3) followed by a further DEP test needed for validating the necessary English language proficiency levels for entry to an overseas university. This Extended program for BQP and MQP but be complete before commencement of core BQP and MQP course.
